Gee, ever heard that dogs and other animals are now in hospitals and nursing homes to assist the elderly coping with their day-to-day lives? Know that animals trigger healing and promote wellness? I am not having a bad day, bad week, or whatever. I am fighting this place alone now. All the rest gave up a few weeks ago as they saw that they cannot get change to occur or even an audit. It was clearly told to me by one of the others who are silent because of age and social needs that the board was told outright by the management company bitch that if they did an audit, they would leave them. All of them being older and stupid decided to let her and her little company do as they please. They drained the roof fund to put up a 161K worth of metal mansard with a pet company with illegal workers instead of 16 K worth of repairs. We tried to stop that, they would not even listen. I called INS, OSHA, I called the city inspectors, the county inspectors, everyone including the FCC. because they have cell towers on the building. Guess who showed up because I found a law about radiation exposure and proxminity to the antennas. Thats right the FCC. The only ones who would after we sent them pictures of these guys standing in front of these things with large sheets of metal in their hands. The FCC showed up. The professional roofers union could not even find enough guys to show up to protest because they have all gotten out of the business because of the illegals working for sub-standard wages here in Florida and driving anyone else out of business and making this little Mexico. The FCC shows up and inspects, but can do nothing at all about it. But at least they showed up. No, one not the INS, not OSHA, not anyone else. Tells you where you have to go to try to get anything done legal anymore.

AN EASY DICTIONARY FOR DAILY USE
Okay folks, here is a short lesson on Condominium and HOA Living in Florida:

This week's lesson: Let's start with the Department where you go to file a complaint.
Their Mission Statement:

"The mission of the Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums and Mobile Homes is to
assist our customers by educating them about their rights and responsibilities as provided in
the regulatory acts we administer; and to respond timely and appropriately to our customers
thereby providing enhanced public protection, quality service, and increased customer satisfaction."

Anyone care to guess what the DBPR means by "enhanced public protection" and
"customer satisfaction"?

Enhanced public protection = We have an 800 number you can call, but if you are in any
serious kind of trouble, don't call us! We can't interpret your Condo/HOA documents, we
can't represent you legally on any matter, we can't even enforce the laws, because it would be
a conflict of interest to "our customers."

Customer Satisfaction = Keep the statistics low so no one figures out that there is a
monstrous problem in Condos/HOAs. Keep the complainants going around in circles
until they sell their unit and stop filing complaints.

Here are some more DBPR words for you to learn....

Customer = Someone other than those unlucky few (millions) who live in a condominium or
HOA and comply with Section 718.501(2)(a), Florida Statutes and pay to the division an annual
fee in the amount of $4.00 for each residential unit.

Breach of Fiduciary Duty = If you do it, everyone knows you did it. But it's a conflict of interest
to satisfy any customers by actually finding anyone guilty of it and penalizing them.

Task Force = A group of our finest customer satisfaction experts. They're highly trained in
listening to thousands of complaints from residents all over the state and then doing absolutely
nothing about it.

Common Funds = If you're a board member, the maximum amount of money that will fit in your
pocket and you end up keeping after taxes. (Refer to Breach of Fiduciary Duty, read it, study it,
and then ignore it. Don't get scared, you get to keep the money)

Official Records = Any bit of incriminating evidence still left after going through the paper
shredder. Law Enforcement will not ever need to see any of it, so it makes really good sense to
get rid of it. It increases customer satisfaction. No proof that some board member took the
money = No Complaints = Higher Customer Satisfaction.

Education = Lessons in enforcement and creating lawsuits. Paid for at an annual rate of
$500,000 by the condo owners. The DBPR chose to hand this "task" to the Community
Association Institute, a trade organization of lawyers and service providers, known to fight any
consumer-friendly bills in Tallahassee. This money will definitely help the CAI to gain more
influence in Tallahassee to defeat homeowners' initiatives!

Enforcement = Bother the hell out of the customers by sending them letters with pretty "Right
Here, Right Now!" logos and wait until the customer laughs at it, takes it to court or moves to
Georgia.

Violation Letter = This is divided into three parts. Informational Letter, Written Warning, and
we don't know yet what to call the third, so we'll just call it Administrative Action.

Informational Letter = Welcome Letter. Usually accompanied with brochures of Florida's
Capitol and pictures of bull droppings.

Written Warning = Welcome Letter, brochures of Florida's Capitol, lots and lots of pictures of
bull droppings and complimentary references to "The Yellow Book," closely resembling but not
to be confused with the Yellow Pages.

Administrative Action = Scare the hell out of people thinking of making complaints and ruining
the customer satisfaction statistics by threatening the complainants with fines of up to $5,000
per violation.

Fines = Toll free calls to 1-800-226-9101 are billed at a rate equivalent to $18 for each serious
violation mentioned. But at no rate will the total of any one phone call exceed $5,000 billable to
caller and all his/her neighbors. There is no limit to the amount of violations, but in order to keep
costs down and keep the customer satisfaction statistics high, only one serious violation per
customer is recommended.

Community Association Manager = One of over 8,500 currently licensed magicians in
Florida who can make millions of dollars disappear and not ever be held accountable for it. It's
simple. The person gets an attorney friend and makes him the registered agent for all the
associations they entertain. When a problem occurs, the CAM blames the Agent, the Agent
blames the board, the board blames the unit owners, the unit owners fork up the bill.

Registered Agent = The person who receives all the complaints and replies to them. This
person usually bills the association at a rate of over $300 per violation to provide answers.
Should the response cause the association to incur a fine, this person's rates just doubled.

Yellow Book = A list of telephone numbers of the wealthiest and most powerful legislators and
attorneys in Florida. "718" and "720" of the Florida Statutes, refer to their hourly rates. The
higher the number, the higher the hourly rate. The formula is really complicated and only a
skilled DBPR employee can tell you how it works. Here is an example, Section 718.501
violations are billed at about $510 per hour, while 718.1255 are billed at $1255.

Accountability = (Pronounced, A-Cow-in-Tabul-eats-tea) Who knows what this one means!
We couldn't find it in the Yellow Book, somebody must have torn the page out.

Author's Note: Not all board members, volunteers, condominium associations, home owner associations, attorneys, registered agents, legislators, community association manager and employees of the DBPR use the above dictionary. Many of them want to provide real enhanced customer protection, the kind where homeowners are protected from losing their homes for
owing four cents to their association, the kind where you protect homeowners from abusive boards by going after the board members who break the law. Keep in mind the torture and
cruelty those customers go through only to find out three years later and getting deep into the system that "There is nowhere else to go!" The problem is ... Florida has been using the same dictionary and Yellow Book for over fifteen years and nobody has the guts to put the above definitions in the Florida Statutes. Why? Who's running the show? Please bring us peace,
please do something about this huge problem. Just do your job and put one of the violators in
jail!

Florida Condo Owner - Where do you go?

After more than two years of trying to get help from government agencies, some condo owners in Grand Vista Condominium Association finally saw some progress being made. The DBPR (Department of Business and Professional Regulation) levied fines against the board of the association, amounting to more than $45,000. And DERM, the Department of Environmental Resource Management, levied another fine of $5,260. According to the DBPR, this is the most severe civil penalty ever imposed on a non-developer managed condominium. And it added Grand Vista to the list of top five worst cases ever seen by the DBPR in all the years it has been reviewing these matters.

But after all the efforts of the homeowners to have their board comply with the Florida Statutes, the actual success really backfires. The board voted on Friday evening, August 1, 2003, to approve a special assessment in the amount of $46,234.52 for unclear purposes, payable by the homeowners, who have tried for many years to correct these problems and elect a new board.

Despite allegations that more than $360,000 is missing from association funds, the state attorneys and the office of the Attorney General Charlie Crist have so far failed the condo owners by not investigating this case of possible embezzlement. Many Florida citizens had hoped for relief on these issues after the last elections. Don't forget, AG Charlie Crist ran on a platform of protecting consumers against fraud! Maybe word hasn't gotten around yet in all the offices?

In a letter to DBPR Secretary Diane Carr dated June 16, 2003, one of the condo owners complained about lack of action and enforcement! All the alleged violations were listed -- and it sure was a long list! But the letter and some pushing from supportive Florida legislators like House Representative Julio Robaina (see letter), must have helped.

It is very obvious that there is no real help for desperate condo owners in Florida. The fines will definitely get the attention of many people, but do they help to find reasonable solutions for the condo owners under siege? In the end, the same owners who complained about the violations are the ones who will be assessed for the violations!

I don't think that is the idea behind the system our legislators created. Please read the letter of Eddie Hernandez, one of the condo owners trying to right the wrong. It clearly shows the frustration of the owners who pay for the problems their board create. And there is no real protection by any agency in our government!

THIS HAS TO CHANGE! Homeowners and condo owners need to be protected from these problems. Most of them just don't have the necessary finances to fight for their rights by paying for civil litigation, after already paying for the biggest investment of their lives -- their HOME!

Failure of the system was predictable, when our legislators made these boards and their attorneys and managers "Judge, Jury and Executioner" (see evaluation of a retired judge to a Law Revision Commission).

So said President James Madison during the early 1800s in The Federalist (#47)(quote):"Placing all power, executive, legislative, and judicial in the hands of one person or one group of persons is the very definition of tyranny."
This mandated properties' association system desperately needs changes, real fast!

Lint, litigation threats mark condo war

SEMINOLE - In the annals of disputes between condominium owners and board members, the ongoing battle at Otter Key must rank as a classic.

It began before Ian Murphy moved in. Since then, it has escalated to the Internet. The latest installment centers on access to the electric panel to Murphy's condo.

That lack of access, he says, caused about $10,000 in computer equipment to fry in a recent power surge. Had he had access to the panel, Murphy said, he could have prevented the loss.

As for the board members, their attorney says they are terrified of Murphy and what he might do.

"They're afraid of him," Tampa lawyer Steve Mezer said. "They take him seriously, but at the same time, he has all the rights and privileges of anyone else in the condominium."

The problem, Mezer said, is that the board wants to enforce the rules, but Murphy keeps escalating the war.

"He's goading you. He's perpetually threatening you," Mezer said.

The threats consist of "I'm going to sue you" or "I'm going to report you" and are combined with a "sailor's mouth," the attorney said.

Murphy's take on the problem is that he is the only one to ever challenge "their little fiefdom." It's the board that does the terrorizing, he said.

"I am a nice, normal, lovable human being, according to a lot of people, until you p--- me off," Murphy said. "I'm not insane. I come with a brain, a dangerous brain."

There is no doubt that Murphy is smart. He is in the Learning Channel's Hackers Hall of Fame for being the first person ever arrested for a computer crime. That was in 1981.

Murphy, who called himself Captain Zap, was one of four people who hacked into AT&T's computers to change the clocks so customers were charged wrongly. Those who made calls early in the day were billed as if they had called late at night. Those who called late at night were charged as if they had made calls early in the day.

Murphy served 21/2 years' probation and 1,000 hours of community service. He now has a consulting company, IAM Secure Data Systems, that helps companies protect themselves against hackers like him.

Murphy bought his Otter Key condo in October 2003 from a friend. Before he could move in, Murphy had to meet with the board for approval, he said. Mezer said the meeting was only to make sure Murphy understood condo law and rights.

Either way, Murphy said he took a friend, who did all the talking. Murphy, who resented having to be at the meeting, said he remained mum the entire time.

Then came moving day. Murphy parked the truck at the building entrance. He was told to move it because it was in a fire lane. That began the slide into open warfare.

Soon came the "world famous lint letter." The board wrote him to complain that too much lint was coming out of the exhaust from his dryer. The exhausts open onto the hallways at Otter Key.

Murphy said he fired back a letter demanding that the board prove the lint was his. He demanded it be DNA tested and a gas chromatograph be done. Gas chromatography separates samples of volatile substances into their chemical components.

Then he started a Web site, www.otterkey.com using the condo's name. It lays out Murphy's complaints about the homeowners association and the management company.

"Did any of you ever come to my door and say hello?" he asks on the site. "Did any of you ever greet me as a new person in the community? No, you offered up Nazi rules and regulations to your stupid authority and well, now you get it back in spades and in hellish fire that has gone across the world. . . .

"Grow up, get a life, stay the hell out of mine, don't talk to me, don't bother me, don't foist your views upon me and I will honor the same rules. If not, the rules of engagement are changed.

"So in a nutshell, you leave me alone, I will leave you alone. If not, legal nuclear war breaks out and the end of Mr. Nice Guy stops, too!"

Murphy urges the Otter Key owners to hire a new management company. And he tells people, "Don't buy a condo here."

The latest battle concerns Murphy's access to his breaker box. Each floor's breaker box is in a locked room near the elevator shaft.

Mezer, the attorney, said the board will unlock the door and pay to have an electrician stand by while Murphy fiddles with his own box. But it would be inappropriateto give Murphy unfettered access to all electric meters, he said.

That does not please Murphy, who wants access 24 hours a day so he can see if the surge suppressors are working properly. A recent surge destroyed almost $10,000 worth of computer equipment, he said.

So why did Murphy, who obviously does not like authority, move to Otter Key? And why does he stay there?

The view from his condo, which is on the waterfront where 54th Avenue N dead-ends into Park Street. And Otter Key is surrounded by conservation land, so no development will encroach on the building. Add to that its central location, million-dollar clubhouse, heated pool and free central hot water.

My horrendous and capital crime was one that is committed each and every day all across the country. Reported by media outlets, discussed in every area of life these days as millions clamber for a similar chance, publicized and made acceptable by the very fiscal arms dealers and purveyors of such lofty thoughts indeed. It is sanctioned by and touted as part of the American Dream by attorneys, brokers and the average citizen. Bankers and financial institutions vie for the chance to help you commit this crime and provide me with the instruments of crime to guarantee my conviction. Young and old are taken in by this drug of allowed choice. Yes, I am a victim of the mass conspiracy that has gripped this nation for as long as I have remembered. My parents and my grandparents also have committed this crime, but none have ever been placed in the cement coffin that I am now in.



It was just a simple day when the first vicious assault upon my life occurred. Sometime early in September, 2002, it happened. Without warning, I walked into the cell, not knowing that a life sentence was to be handed down. The judges, elderly and allegedly wise sold me on the “beauty” of the cell block and it’s sinister allure. And then the sentence was imposed on October 8th. By my own hand, I took up the pen and signed my life away to controlled thought and life. Giving up, I did not know; the simple freedoms to be hounded away by the dreaded keepers of the prison. To be under their thumb and ever gripping control, I took my own life and became part of their minion.



Freedom, once something that was taken for granted, has now become fleeting. Behind locked doors of steel and glass, to only gain access by passage through the electronically locked and watched by a camera, and to have additional electronically controlled towers of steel to control my very access to areas and my own cell. Locked doors and minds. Key access to some areas and locked out of others, even though they are part of the prison, I am trapped. Access to simple knowledge, newspapers and television is tightly controlled by the censors of life itself inside this island of stupidity and mind control; contracted and mandated; as the only source of propaganda allowed in this place, by those too ignorant and complacent of the dictators of this state sanctioned residence of tyranny; I stand as a thought criminal and lover of freedom. Even the flag of my country is banned inside this prison as it stands for freedom and life. But it is also kept hidden from the inmates and dreams of the population.



It has become a struggle to see the truth that is real truth, but I still persevere. Lies told to me as truth by the wardens. Unseen guards reporting as snitches to the rest of the general population who also as prisoners but allowed some freedoms that escape my purview. Freedom, still elusive as ever; now is only to be found on day excursions from this hell. Clad in my daily trappings and held hostage by the very same who placed me here by simple prosecution of this American Dream, I am now a prisoner in an ever losing financial and human battle against this demon called home ownership. But just not any home my friends, one that is called a condominium.



A hellish existence of societal and social death that shrouds my very thinking and traps my spirit and makes me wish for a simple life with a heaven promised of white picket fences and a backyard barbecue pit. To feel the warmth of my own fireplace and it simple glow on a chilly night is now unthinkable. A socialist society in this the land of the free, I have now unknowingly becoming part of the proletariat, a still free thinking non-member of the party, but still enslaved by it.



Even the very air that I breathe is controlled by these demonic masters, unable to open the windows where each day the light anew streams; to find only shielding; to the very internal confines of this cell. Its very smell; being mechanical and harsh, cold and musty, as the forced recirculation of life’s breath is contained and held hostage form mingling with the lifting breeze. The glow of sunlight, blocked by walls of dense dark fabric, like grey gun metal; shielding me from them and them from me, to insure conformity and one vision; to keep all vision out; or in; from ever being allowed by the controllers of this cellblock, I toil in utter darkness and the glare of harsh incandescent light, not feeling the security of the days beginnings. To never smell the spring flowers, or the clean scent after a rain, missing is the smell of a fresh cut lawn and only to remember from my youth such aromas of life, they remain elusive and distant now. Only the harsh trumpets that blare from the passing chariots are ever heard as all life is silenced and squelched by the Rules and Regulations of this prison. No life or nature itself is to be allowed and is exterminated for the alleged good of all inmates. The harshness of this antiseptic living is supported and regaled.



Water, held in high esteem for it’s pleasure in life, becomes coward and controlled as well. No choice but to drink the poisonous brew as required by the wardens. Drugged with toxins and disease, we are forced to be receptacles of their insidious liquid plan to ever control our ever being. Salt to clog our mind and body, chemicals to control and fluoridated as required by state sanctioned decree, forces our self to become part and parcel of the growing cancers delivered by tap to our cell. Unable to filter out their demands or the filth that flows from the sewers to the faucet, we become numbed and left for dead.



To forever forget that democracy was the cornerstone of the country’s founding only to see that the very thought of personal freedoms are taken away by others with no right or reason in this mausoleum of former lives gone by. Passed only to the next prisoner by the death of the last prisoner, it waits silently as a beast ever consuming the next one in its warm grasp until it closed it’s steely hand around your throat and takes your breath away.



Slowly dying, the former prisoner, like me, stands as a disastrous testament of the dream goes awry. Only those in power, the Board of Directors under the menacing glaring eye of the Property Manager are allowed to think for the rest of us and controlling our life; and to issue for forth their own edicts as a way to live and to forget the life I once had; and knowingly think that they control everything, but still I maintain my personal freedoms with visions of tranquil existence and lawn care.



Paying my captors for alleged required or mandated services found elsewhere freely as part of my former freedoms, now I beg for economic relief from such tolls from this rocky road. Spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave; these wardens take freely and give nothing back in return. Stealing with fees that would make most cringe; taking the very bread from my tin plate and seizing the simple pleasure of subtle life to insure their edicts are obeyed; I pay and hope that the alleged laws that put me here do a not also take my cell from me due to my disobedience of their illegal proclamations.



To know that my life is being watched by the elderly wardens and senile guards that have become my very captors of life itself. Draining me of the light once burning brightly and looking for each day, this prison is now my home. As a life sentence 30 to Life is handed out by the very institutions that sold me down the river as being the alleged dream, now nightmare; that has become my albatross. I hope for escape from the festering wasteland of this humanity and be freed by the Parole Boards of Real Estate.


But what of my humanity, my quest to save others from the horrible fate that awaits by their own hand by the stroke of a pen. Am I not to apply charity in my dealings with others? Or do I allow them the same fate, and same misery that now is my lamenting song? Yes! In my goals to preserve the very essence of the American Dream, I bring forth the battle cry to stay away. Save yourself! They will not allow ANYTHING put on the agenda that THEY don't want to talk about. We had a group togeteher in the spring of last year, they would not let us speak at all. They hounded us like dogs into a quite zone. We were told that we are radicals and we will not stand for you to upset the apple cart around here. Too quote " Who the hell are you people who think that you can tell us what to do. We have lived here 20 years and want our money out of what we paid into to for all the years. You people who have only lived here 5,3,years and you 6 months, all need to sit down and be quite. Excuse me, but I am not going to take grief or crap from so 80 year old MF who thinks that they can tell me how to live my life.112 units worth 25 to 30 million, 500K a year in revenues and no one can audit the books, bull! And the state says that if they vote to not audit the books, they can get away with it. Gee 2200 to audit the books, $19.64 cents per unit owner, versus the management company that has a sweet secret deal and rips off the entire place and make threats of leaving if such things occur. And the old farts are so very afraid of change. I even offered to pay for the audit of the books, but NO! We even have floor monitors who report every little thing that anyone does around here. What is this high school? No it is a prison!

I have had over 400 documented power failures in this building, but can not get to my main breaker or power surge equipment because they state, that I will rip out the wires and sell them for crack. I am not kidding. This is all verified and you can read it in the lawsuit filed and I have provided a link so that you can see the nightmare that I live in. Read it yourself and then tell me that I am crazy. In fact the power company paid me 2500 bucks for just one episode of the computers dying because of them. And Progress Energy does not pay anyone. I have had Florida Department of Law Enforcement at my door because I am so fed up with the entire mess and blew up one night after the whatever hundreth power failure and then hate mail in one day crap. And had to have my lawyers tell them to go away. I have letters from the Electric company that tell these morons that I own the meter, I own the socket and I own the circuit breaker, but they state that I made the letter on the computer. I am good, but I don't commit document frauds like others do around here.

Now I have been called a child molester, arsonist, professional prisoner and mental painet, drug dealer, sex addict, pornographer, hacker (well I am a hacker, but professional) burglar, and a few other names all publically and posted upon their public bulletin boards. I have had my background run without permission or without my knowledge, had my life looked into so much, I might as well put up a pay slot for all the visits to my life and make some money off of them, seen the last voting done on Jan 25th as one of the group put it, the finest example of Chicago politics he has ever seen for the recent election where they ran one guy who is the same one who stated that so long as he lived here, the management company will be here, and ran him to stop us rebels from being on the board to change things around here. He ran, and won as expected. In fact the radical group knew the outcome of the elections before they were to be held. We choose the one guy with 15 years on the board, president for 13 as one winner and the new boy on the block, a retired lawyer who was only here for 6 months. The first winner then resigned 1 week later so that they could put another one on the board of their choosing. But will not release the election results and will not tell anyone anything with the exception that that if you want it, sue us! This is why I am so fed up. I have to sue to get anything? I did not think that I was supposed to be not exposed to the reality of the place. But the office is locked, the records kept secret and the financial dealings are a mess. No audits in 20 years, the condo ombudsman office can do nothing even though they try, the courts are backed up and I am fighting 3 large insurance companies that will bankrupt me if I lose.

The Office of the Condominium Ombudsman was created by the 2004 Legislature and codified under Chapter 718.5011 of the Florida Statutes (The Ombudsman Statute). The purpose of the Office is to provide education and assistance to condominium owners, to act as a liaison between the owners and their managers and directors, to resolve complaints, and to facilitate voluntary resolution of disputes. The Office is also mandated to assist, monitor, conduct, and review condominium elections. The Ombudsman is required to make reports and legislative recommendations relative to the Division of Condominiums’ rules, procedures, jurisdiction, personnel, and functions.

The principal Office of the Ombudsman is in Tallahassee and located for administrative purposes within the Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums, and Mobile Homes of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (Division). The Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums, and Mobile Homes Trust Fund finances the functions of the Office.

The Office of the Condominium Ombudsman in its first year of operation has established a means to accomplish all of its delegated duties with its five employees.

In resolving disputes and acting as a liaison the office through its Response-Intervention-Resolution procedure resolves over 75% of the issues, disputes, complaints, and problems that it receives. The Ombudsman’s Office currently receives about 700 complaints and requests weekly. The majority of the complaints were about abuse and mismanagement by the board of directors. About thirty percent (30%) of the complaints related to Officer and Director Abuse and harassment. Thirty percent (30%) were regarding fiscal and general mismanagement of the association.

And that is only the people who file, how many of us out here just throw up our hands and give up. I have fought the good fight for 3 years from the very first day I ever moved in here. They started, drew first blood and all that other stuff. My first contact was moving in at 5 pm on a Sunday and the first words out of their mouths were we can have your car towed, it is in a fire lane. I was moving in for christ sake. Then came the world famous lint letter about lint coming from my dryer vent. Where do you think lint comes from morons? I have had peeping toms, shopping carts jammed in my door so I could not get out of my unit, doors egged, cars egged, my life turned upside down for no other reason than to torture me as one guy in 102 told me. And I fought back and they did not like that. So tell me that I am wrong. I cannot even upgrade my unit without them peering into the windows and telling me that there is a building project manager who "needed" to know what we were doing. Found out that there is no such thing, just one of the spies. Another came down to investigate us and I fed him tumblers of scotch and got him so drunk, he does not even remember being in side the unit. When we first moved in around Halloween, my girlfriend made Halloween Cookies and took them down to the so called social meeting, they were reject right up front because they were laced with drugs. Please would I waste good drugs on old farts, hell no! I would take them. I spend more on legal drugs now per month than I ever spent on illegal drugs in my life! As a few of you have said, get your neighbors involved, well that is not possible, they are all afraid of the BOD and their attorney. I stood up to them and now I get to pay the price for not being one of the obedient slaves around here with an open checkbook and a closed mind. "We know what is best for all of you here at Otter Key!"

My girlfriends children are harassed at the pool, my friends get harassed every time to the point that they will not come here. Other people here with children who have come to visit their parents have had the same thing happen. If you mix children in a pool, add water, you get playful noise. But no, we can't have that here at Otter Key. I had one guy come running up to the maintenance man who they treat like Step and Fetch It from the old movies and he wanted to meet Mr. Murphy. Why? Because the Board President called the cops on his children who were fishing at the waters edge and then harassed them at the pool. He stated that Mr. Murphy was right, that these people need to get a life.
I have had it with all of them. These 80 year olds have no clue as to reality and to what the world is these days. But get the hell out of the way at 4:30 when they all flood out to get to the early bird specials. It has reached a point where I am about to take up a baseball bat and start playing a game around here. Just venting, but you understand the frustrations I am going through.

I get hate mail all the time, get told I am a moron because I have a whole house surge protector on my meter but you only need one if you have a computer, which I do, but the whole house surge protector is whats causing my 300 dollar a month electric bills and everyone know that you only put a surge protector on your computer as these idiots like to say. Gee, after all what does the electric company know about whole house surge protectors if they sell them and install them for you? I guess that 80 year olds know more than me and Progress Energy. I have reached a point where the insurance companies that are fighting me are stalling for all sorts of reasons to try and make this go away, and I hate it. We were supposed to have depo's in November, then dec, then janurary, now well who knows if ever. I am alone in this fight against these morons. These slugs of the past who will only give up power when they die. And that is the truth about the whole thing. Only when they die will they ever give up the power that they never had in life in the real world, but can make everyone else tow the line according to their views and ideals. Grow the hell up and just die. Term limits, damn right. If you are vollentering so much, maybe you should go find another place to volunteer than destroying everyone life for the sake of your control freak factor. Now you tell me after you read the lawsuit, ad you read this and you see the Condo Ombudsmans report, that I am just crazy or having a bad day. I have to get out of here, but stuck with a real estate agent / idiot that has only shown my place twice in almost a year. And that does not end until May of this year. I had to put up a website to just scare them a bit, and it works! WWW.Otterkey.com and they hate it. But they had since 1994 to register their web domain and well I got it first. So that solves that!

I am fed up with the place so much and all I ever did was want access to my meter. But the board president never knew where her own electric meter was for 20 years and she was the first to move in the place. 20 years of ignorance and stupidity is not a way to live your life. Investigations, insinuations, accusations and more all about me. Files passed out like dossiers from the days of the gestapo with false information and made up lies from the Internet because I gained a little more fame and glory and money than most by those who are covetening and too sorry for them selves to even think that they could ever be me. I am not grandstanding here, I am telling the truth when it comes to the facts and the realities of his place and others who are in my situation and NO ONE WILL HELP ANY OF US! How many of us does it take to beat these bastards? It seems that there are so many stories of abuse ad horrors that boggle the mind, but no politician will dare fight the hand that feeds them$$. And there is another problem. So after you read the entire thing and the lawsuit and see the reality of the reality, tell me I am nuts! Now here is an interesting idea for any of you who have some time. Why not send them a little postal letter telling them what you really think of them.
